Welcome to Codes and Compass, a platform where I share my journey as a software engineer, entrepreneur, and adventurer. My name is Kiarash Edraki, and I’ve always believed that life is about finding a balance between building impactful solutions and exploring the richness of the world around us.

Who I Am

I wrote my first line of code on an old Mac when I was 14, driven by curiosity to solve school problems. That curiosity grew into a career where I’ve designed and developed systems, led engineering teams, and eventually co-founded a startup in the Bay Area. As the CTO of my company, I oversee product development, manage technical teams, and turn ideas into tangible outcomes. I thrive on the challenge of creating innovative solutions that make a difference.

Beyond technology, I’m passionate about traveling and immersing myself in different cultures. I’ve explored Europe’s historic landmarks, the vibrant cities of Asia, and the serene landscapes of Northern California. Each journey has added new perspectives, enriching both my personal and professional life.
